At 12:00 on the first Monday of every month, we share a Sound of Hope.
Every\n month, people across Amsterdam hear the Dutch emergency siren \n(“luchtalarm”) as it is tested nationwide. We’re giving that familiar \nsound a new meaning.
Together with 72andSunny Amsterdam, Sonhouse, BRAM RADIO and SALTO Radio, we transform Amsterdam’s sirens into the Sound of Hope:\n a monthly radio moment featuring messages of hope and solidarity from \nthe local community, alongside new creative work by Amsterdam-based \nartists.
By transforming a sound associated with fear into a \nmoment of reflection, connection and optimism, we’re building a growing \nnetwork of hope across Amsterdam.
